Naveego sees joint work on customer deployment with BI vendor Sisense as portent of more vendor collaborations

Data quality vendor Naveego has announced a collaboration with Sisense around one customer, and while this is not even a formal partnership, they believe that their synergies with BI vendors and ability to work easily with their platforms make such strategic partnerships an important part of their future.

Traverse City, Michigan-based Naveego makes cloud-based Data Quality Solutions that detect and eliminate data quality issues across systems. They have announced a collaboration with business intelligence vendor Sisense to provide a data quality and analytics solution for a customer. The collaboration is the first of its kind for Naveego, and they don’t intend for it to be the last.

Munson Healthcare is the largest healthcare system in Northern Michigan. They currently have more than 540,000 unique patients across 30 counties. There are nine community hospitals in this huge network. To manage such a huge customer base, having an accurate and comprehensive record of patients data had become a prime necessity for them to operate flawlessly. After all, healthcare is all about the highest quality of patient care and productivity for users. There was an asking for a new EMR to enhance operational efficiency. The motive was also to ensure compliance with increasing regulations. Complete Data Accuracy Platform from Naveego was not in their procurement list still. It was assumed that the new EMR will be effective enough to manage their newly acquired hospitals, outpatient facilities, and practice groups. But the new EMR system was not able to help in data integration. Something was seriously missing.

5 NYC companies are on their way to becoming 'unicorns'

As of last month, there are more than 300 unicorns around the world, according to CB Insights, a New York data purveyor.

The firm has been tracking startup valuations for about 10 years. Each year, it analyzes a variety of data to create a definitive list of private companies that are on their way to a $1 billion valuation.
